How To Take Thanksgiving Pictures You'll Cherish Forever

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of the year, where we all get together with our family and loved ones to express just how grateful we are for all the amazing things in our lives.

Thanksgiving is the perfect time to create some amazing memories that will last you a lifetime.

And while on the topic of creating those memories, we’ve found the perfect way for you to make your thanksgiving photos truly unique and unforgettable.

A Thanksgiving Photo Booth Frame

Thanksgiving photo booth frames are awesome props that you can customize with your own special message and quirky designs.

The frames are a super fun way of transforming your pictures from average to instantly interesting, nobody is going to see a pic with a photo booth frame in it and not stop to see what's going on.

They Are durable and inexpensive ways of adding some much needed excitement to your thanksgiving parties.

Here are some amazing ways to use the frames to take truly memorable pictures.

During Your Thanksgiving Party

When your thanksgiving party is in full swing, bring out your frame and pass it on to your best friend or someone who really knows how to get people buzzing (the life of the party) and have them start taking pics with as many people as they can

The moment the sign comes out and people see others taking selfies and pics with the frame, they'll want in on the action too.

This is an immediate boost to your party and will stop people from just randomly grouping around and letting the party get stale… you'll still need to be fun though, so don't expect this frame to carry the whole party for you, you'll need at least 5 if you want that to happen.

Coordinate Your Instagram Posts

This is the perfect time to make your IG account look amazing.

You'll be creating coordinated instagram posts where you'll have multiple posts come together to make 1 photo.

  1. Take a very high quality pic of you and your friends with the frame and put it up into an editing software.
  2. split the pic into 6 sections (instagram uses 3 pictures per row, were going to be filling up 2 rows)
  3. Post the pics in this order
    • Bottom right
    • Bottom middle
    • Bottom left
    • Top right
    • Top middle
    • Top left
  4. Review the final collage to make sure you got it right.

Fill in each post as either a stand alone pic or a reel with this image on top, by the time you're done, you'll have a gorgeous section of your IG to remember your thanksgiving by and a great way of posting all your thanksgiving pics without messing up your feed.

Take A Tour Of Gratitude

It's time to take stock (and pic) of all the things you're grateful for.

This is a really simple idea you could turn into a whole adventure for you and your loved ones.

Make a list of all the people and things you're grateful for and then try to tick off items from that list by taking a selfie with them in the frame.

If it's your parents, go visit them and take a selfie with them, get one with your dog, a jar of your favorite peanut butter, maybe even the squirrel that mooches off your bird feeder. This can be a really great way of spending time with your kids as not only will it help them stay grounded and grateful, it also helps you learn a little bit more about them.

You might find out that your kids are super grateful for those sandwiches you make for school or don't actually care about ballet as much as you do… be warned, your feelings could get hurt. But regardless, it's a superb way of bonding and spending time with your family and loved ones.

TAKE PICS AT THE PARADE

Go out to the local thanksgiving parade and get selfies with as many of your friends as you can.

If you're feeling brave, you could even try getting on one of the floats and taking a selfie on it with the performers. This would make for a truly epic post for your IG or a timeless photo for your album.

Be sure to enjoy your time there, the photos are only ever as good as the memories you make.

Go To A Thanksgiving Play Or Reenactment

Bust out your frame and your best pilgrim hat.

Thanksgiving plays are a super fun way of learning more about the holiday, while getting out and enjoying some entertainment.

Take some selfies with your friends getting dressed up for the play and then when you get there, ask some of the performers if you can take shots with them.

If its your child taking part in the play, give them your frame and have them take backstage shots with other kids in the cast. These events often seem small and insignificant to them at the moment but trust us, they'll love looking back at those pictures in a couple years time.

Volunteer At A Local Charity

Thanksgiving is a perfect time to give to those who aren't as fortunate as you to have all these awesome things in their life.

Volunteer at a local animal shelter, food drive or some other local charity and spend some of your time giving back to your community.

After you're done, take out your frame and take some shots with the other volunteers and some of the animals & people you helped (if they are comfortable with it). Youre going to come away from this experience with a ton of priceless memories.
